Big skies

I took another quiet, somewhat reflective day and watched the Boxing Day test - Australia v New Zealand from the MCG.  Another day when I didn't actually leave home - I quite like those days.

The shops have been hyping things up with their advertisements for Boxing Day sales.  I find the commercialisation of Christmas tough to stomach these days but the Boxing Day sale thing is simply grotesque......a feeding frenzy of indulgent materialism.

Some things are worth more than any sale could possibly provide - like big skies, a golden atmosphere and freedom to choose when, where and if to go .........
