As a Lancastrian, living in Yorkshire...

...I'm accustomed to hearing about penny-pinching Yorkshire folk. But to find someone, on the day after Christmas Day, stocking up on discounted Christmas Cards was a first. This lady appeared to have a bag full of cards ready for next Christmas; we see her carefully checking them to make sure the Charity Shop hadn't sold her faulty goods.

Another bargain hunter was carefully over-loading her bike with her hoard of goodies (see today's extra).
