The apples I leave on the ground for the birds are starting to disappear rapidly.  I've never seen so many blackbirds in the garden at any one time as I have over the last few days.  Tried to count them, not easy to do from a distance and with them moving around... around 20 of them!  Then this morning I was very surprised and happy to spot this Fieldfare.  I was literally hanging out the window taking these shots from a distance.  Couldn't resist the Robin in the middle either.  Had two of them in the garden this morning, its not very often you see more than one at a time.
