As I don't clearly remember having been to the Stedelijk museum the last couple of times we were in Amsterdam I assume it either didn't exist or hadn't been made to impinge on my awareness, though it is possible that we weren't there for long enough to have been to it as well after the van Gogh and Rijksmusems each took up a day apiece. We were on the clock in the afternoon after everyone eventually got up and went out (breakfast at the hotel was quite acceptable) shortly before lunchtime. Someone had selected a sort of converted market space foodhall place for tea, with lots of wee stall things around the outside and insufficient seats in the middle for the amount of people. It took awhile for everyone to assemble, choose stuff, buy stuff and eat stuff, but we fortunately escaped before the place turned into a club, or at least an overcrowded converted markethall with loud thumpy music being played by a man wearing ostentatious headphones.
