Mummers

Gloucestershire Morris Men were performing outside Gloucester Cathedral today. We arrived too late to see any of the morris dancing, but we did catch the end of the Mummers' play. Apparently the performance was to mark the death of the old year and start of the new. This performer was collecting money in a bag on the end of a long stick.
