Reunited

Elf and Safety invited Elpha and Bet to Mum and Dad’s with us today. 

It was a good day - lots of laughs, and definitely too much food!  The Elves certainly had fun. They had heard they were soon to be replaced by Easter bunnies (I guess Easter eggs will be in the shops in a few days) and were disappointed to hear they had to hibernate after Christmas. 

They also recalled next year was an Olympic year, so they tried the relay race improving with Matchmakers which didn’t quite work as they were more like pole vaults. Elpha and Bet decided to leave their sleeping bags for Elf and Safety but first thought they could improvise for the rowing event as a boat. 

In the afternoon we sat down to watch Toy Story 4 which was very good. The Elves snuck in from the radiator and practiced for the gymnastics events and I’m not sure Elf and Safety were amused as they were supposed to be doing a group Blip.  After watching Toy Story they decided to practice their best falling on the floor when humans are about as they heard it might be a new Olympic event.
