Tap and Bottles, Southport

A wet day and a late start meant that Rick and I only managed a couple of quick caches in Southport before we retired to our favoured pub, the Tap and Bottles.

Chester were excellent today, one of their best performances of the season and, they deservedly won 3-1 against Southport. The third goal by Gary Roberts was a contender for goal of the season. It was a very satisfying result because we have traditionally been rubbish on Boxing Day in previous years.
