Nice ice, baby....

Even though I am, as you know, a horse whisperer, I'm very much enjoying all the jokes about the supermarket burgers, which have included cheval in their ingredients.

'Hamburgers - an anagram of 'Shergar bum'

'Tesco Horseburgers - they give you the trots'

But hay, I don't want to stirrup any trouble - so if there are any of you hoove been offended by this, I apologise......

This was the ice on my canal this morning. It was so cold as I was walking to work, hands in pockets, that I actually thought one of my fingers had snapped off....until I realised it was a pen I'd been fiddling with....
