Boxing Day walk

The forecast wasn't great but the weather was better than expected in that it didn't rain but it was a dark afternoon.  My cousin B is here from London with her lovely partner K, and along with M they came to us for dinner.  After our walk Mr B made lovely cocktails and then we had an old fashioned meal, prawn cocktail, steak, onions, mushrooms and champ potatoes (creamed potatoes with chopped syboes and a well on the top where a big lump of butter melts) followed by a gluten free orange and almond cake with ice cream.  Red wine, white wine, dessert wine, whisky..... Time to get back into my gym routine, LW's Maw and Paw are getting married in April so I want to avoid putting on weight...
