Map of Iona

I sewed this cross-stitch from a pattern produced by Mearnscraft in Angus. I used to do quite a bit of sewing when the girls were young. It was easier to keep an eye on them while sewing, rather than reading a book. It must sound like I had an easy time of looking after them ;o)

I have another "map" on the go just now, but only sew this when we're away on holiday or going for a long journey. I guess I don't like sitting still for too long.

Another busy day talking to Archaeology and History students about how to use the library resources. Some even took notes. Most of the time I feel I'm talking about things they already know, but if they learn about just one new electronic resource from the library, I'll be pleased.
