You can tell that Fiona and I are around the same age because we both thought of the children's TV programme "Jackanory" when we saw these chairs in Bob and Bert's. 

I'd come into Dumfries for a hair appointment with Michael. He and I were the only people in the salon so we had a nice chat.

I met Fi in the High Street afterwards and we went for a cup of tea. She had been spending her Christmas book tokens (always a good present for someone who likes books as much as I do).

We had a good blether. Lots of stories..a bit like Jackanory, really :-)
