341/365: The Longest Ride

Since I completed the London to Brighton bike ride way back in the 1990s with my brother-in-law and thousands of other cyclists, today's was the longest since at about 52 miles.

Pictured is the small Suffolk village of Boxford, with its fine church glowing in the falling winter sunshine. Beloved had agreed that I should head out on the bike while I had the opportunity and said 'you can go out for three hours if you like'. I'd thought it a possibility, but hadn't planned to. As the afternoon was mild and sunny however, I just did! See extra for the route, just for the record.
