Nelson’s stand in!

We got all tacked up, me on Roxy, Mary on Edmund and Emma .... well, she almost got on Nelson, but he came out lame from his stable. So, Lily was brought out and tacked up instead of being lead beside us! She seemed fine with Emma on her, but we didn’t go far.

The extras:
Whilst we were waiting to go, Mary showed me some little exercises she has been taught at Pony Club. They’re the same exercise I was taught, as were her mum and aunties. She’s not brave enough to dismount by turning sideways in the saddle, holding on to the front and back, leaning backwards and flipping her feet over, which I remember doing many times!

In the evening I went for a dog walk with my friend Maria and took some twilight photos.
