Auchterarder

I went down to visit my daughter today. She lives in Auchterarder which I am not that familiar with. 
It was a dreich day but the dog still needed walked so down to the local park we went. 
In the extra I've put in a shot of an unusual extension to a house. I'm not sure what it's there for. Any suggestions??
