The Bishop's Wife

I have to confess I love this time of year. We got up relatively late this morning around 9 o'clock, had a leisurely breakfast and decided to go out for a walk. 

We are quite fortunate where we live ,as there are quite a few good walking routes within a 5 minute drive from the house. I think we all needed to get some much needed fresh air.

Got home ready for a hefty lunch of leftovers. Then settle down to watch TV. After much debate we settled for a black and white film called The Bishop's Wife with David Niven and Cary Grant filmed in 1947. Cary Grant plays an angel. We interrupted the film for cups of tea and biscuits and After Eights.

Did I mention how much I love this time of year.....
