Popped down to the post office which is still open behind all the metal fencing and diggings on Constitution St. I was surprised to see that Dalton's scrap-yard opposite is actually still open too, albeit with single lane access. I suppose they're waiting for the outcome of the planning application for.....now, what was it for? Ah yes, of course, student flats.

Anyway, whatever happens I don't suppose this charming and venerable sign is long for this world.
