Well dressed hydrangea

It’s hot. Over 40° C in the back garden and hydrangeas don’t like it hot. I only planted this one recently and it hasn’t enough shade as the tree next to it is still young and has no canopy.

I had a look around the yard for the makings of a shade cover and found a ladder and old curtain which has done the trick. The curtain is one that has been used as a rag for some years and has a lion and bamboo on it. Very old and dated. The hydrangea has wilted but the leaves haven’t curled up at the edges. Success ( Bob thought I had it dressed in my old wedding dress - Silly).
