A Crap End to an Awful Year.

I do hope things get better for us this coming year. I seem to have gone down with flu since a sore throat started on Christmas Day. I was fine for work all throughout December and then two days with mum and Garri and I get this which has put me, not in work and in bed for two days so far. Poor Garri has had to drive mum back to Scotland on a 24 hour drive on his own. Bless his heart.
I still ache all over as if I’ve been hit with a baseball bat and now it’s giving me a nasty chesty cough.
I wonder what joys 2020 will bring?
It’s been a terrible year with losing Dad and Phoenix and poor Mum has been so good to me. She’s had a dreadful few years with all what’s gone on in our lives. She is so amazing.
I don’t celebrate New Year as it’s all hype like everything these days.
I suppose I have become “A Grumpy Old Woman”
Anyway .... last blip of 2019 and good riddance to that year.
