Cold Hands

Evening all.

Amongst my myriad ofphotography related Christmas gifts i got two pairs of fancy gloves

One set is the type where you can fold back the top of the thumb and index finger of each glove so you can do useful photography related things, like press the shutter, dial in different settings, unwrap sweetie wrappers, thoughtfully pick your nose or scratch your bum.

The other are thermo nuclear, baco-foil insulated, neoprene clad, seal skin covered with their own heated water supply to the fingers and an in-built sauna and tea and coffee making facilities in the palm of each glove.

To be honest, over the last two days i have road tested both of the pairs and i can report that if i'd immersed my bare hands in buckets of ice cold water, then clutched a rod of dry ice, then sprayed them with liquid nitrogen, and locked them in a freezer, built into an iceberg, on a particularlry chilly day in the Artic circle;

they'd have still been warmer than five minutes with the gloves on in the middle of an English winter!
