This is a detail from the tiles on the floor of the front porch. Or maybe you'd call it a vestibule. It's not big - just enough room to step under some shelter by the front door and for the storm doors to open into during the day. The tiles are a bit cracked and there are a couple of chips but I'd never replace them as a) they are the original Victorian, b) I like them and c) what would I replace them with.

The point of blipping them today is to show them looking clean. If you look carefully you'll see they're still slightly wet. That's right; it's not even Hogmanay and I've cleaned my front step. 10/10 to me.

A day spent tidying up after yesterday's party and getting ready for another one tomorrow. It's all go.
