December Rose

A brisk walk in the cold wind this afternoon, but it was lovely and sunny. There were some sheltered rose bushes with beautiful rose buds and several open, but a little battered, blooms. This one was such a pretty shade of dark pink.

Back home now and a nice read in my new book with a mug of fennel tea!
