Saturday Tea

I'm not very well.  I didn't sleep too well due to coughing and congestion, this was aided in the early morning by sleeping sitting up in bed.

I took it very easy this morning and slowly felt a little better, i.e. not coughing so much.  I was well enough by lunchtime to go into Stratford to meet Ann and we went for a bit of lunch at Pret.  

We were due to go out for a meal this evening with Chris and Jean but we had to postpone it, not wanting to risk passing my dreaded lurgy onto others.

So for our in-house tea I conjured up a Creamy Leek and Sage Croustade which we had with the remains of Boxing Day's Butternut Squash and Chickpea Roast, sprouts (of course) and sweet potato.
