A day with the animals....

.. well I. managed it at last;  I only expected a fine day but in the event there was a little sun too which was a lovely bonus.  A lot of the animals had made the wise choice and were prepared to come out for food but other than that they were wisely staying indoors and keeping warm.  Nevertheless despite missing out on any antics from the Lemur family I had a lovely day and it was so good to be outdoors and walking.  The little Meerkat was the best shot of the day so he had to be the main blip.

Many thanks for visiting my journal and for so many of you identifying yesterday's fungi; I love their shape and colour but it was surprise to hear that they're also edible!
