Water of Life
Must be some time since I have sought the shelter of the Bannwwald forest above Ottobeuren for the dog walk as I am sure the noticeboard in front of the water well/pumping station is new.
I should have taken some close-ups of the text but I think I can remember one of the points. The 8,000 odd inhabitants use about 1.5m litres of water a day. Seems astonishing to me as there aren't any businesses I can think of which are high water users.
Imagine what would become of us if we are faced with African water conditions one day!
Oh, and there was also: cow needs up to 100 litres of water a day to produce 15 litres of milk!
