Eyeing off the bird bowls

I always enjoy capturing an image of a Gang Gang when they're sitting in a gum tree.  This beauty was just deciding would he go to the upper level bowls or the lower level bowls hmmmmm.  

I called into the Fire Shed around 4.00pm this afternoon and it appears that at this stage the fire crews are very satisfied with the back burning and containment lines that they have been able to put in over the last few days.  Without the strong winds they are able to do a lot more of this type of work.  I'll be happy when Tuesday has come and gone and we get through the hot days and a very windy one on Tuesday.  We have everything crossed in this neck of the woods.

On Wednesday when trade people are back at work I'm going to enlist the help of a plumber to come and put sprinklers on the roof at Wombat Hollow.  No need to wait until next summer, we still have three very hot months ahead of us, so I've decided to act now.
