Christmas cottages

We drove over the border to Lancashire to meet some dear friends for lunch at a country pub. I had the Sunday roast - local beef - which was amazing.

We hadn’t seen them since August at their Ruby wedding celebration and it was a good afternoon.

These pretty cottages were opposite the pub and looked very pretty as the sun set.
