A New Years Sprig.......

This one branch of the Christmas Cactus broke off last summer.   I picked it up and stuck it in some soil,  and hoped.....
      It has rooted, survived my travels (for I left it on the porch)  and it has managed to bloom this morning.    In 2 days it will be the New Year, 2020.  
This little cactus reminds me that there is always hope......
it just takes a bit of faith, love, and kindness....
