Rats!

I have had to drive to the village to collect our newspapers as the person who delivers them decided to have time off over Christmas without informing the paper shop in advance.

Ollie dog and I went for a gentle walk along the Stort Navigation. These attractive, house-shaped feeders caught my attention and then I noticed three large rats on a narrowboat underneath them. It reminded me of when we were sailing off Ithaca and moored at a deserted little island called Parapigadi. We had advance warning to fix large water bottles or funnels on our mooring lines to prevent rats walking the tightrope onto the yacht in the fashion of the one in my pic.

I'm very behind with blip and intend to gradually catch up.
