These Boots Were Made For...

D and I think we’ve done well if we sleep til 8 but the children are something else. At about 11.15 there was still no sign of either child so I took a chance and text Poppy to see if she was awake and if she fancied a trip into Cambridge. She did but it meant a long wait while she got ready. We eventually got to town at about 1pm where the rest of the world were already queuing for The Grand Arcade car park. As soon as we got parked we headed to Nando’s where we had to queue for a table but once we’d ordered the food was quick to arrive and we soon got the shops. Poppy has said several times how much she loves her new Converse shoes so I took a secret blip while we were coming back into the car park.
It’s always lovely to catch up with my girl and we had a fairly productive shopping trip as well as a nice lunch.
