Light Through the Trees

Cooler today, although still plenty of sun, I tried to get some shots of light streaming through the trees. I find this hard to deal with - getting a sense of strong sunlight but without making it too contrasty.

I liked the three main characters anchoring the scene amongst the general chaos of the wood. I think probably the diagonal tree in the top right is a distraction I should have avoided.

Getting lower might have reduced the sunlit area giving it more emphasis, but then the sky might have come into play.
