We had a very special visitor today.
Many years ago, a schoolgirl came for work experience in the clinic my husband worked for at the time.
She was accepted into vet school and spent time with us during her placements.
She took longer than the normal 5 years to graduate as a vet because she was busy excelling on the world's athletic stage.
A true example of what a good work ethic, determination, and talent can achieve.
We were both incredibly touched by her thoughtfulness in her choice of gifts.
She knows us both so well!
