I spotted these hooded mergansers in a sediment pond in town. It has been warm but rainy today and we had to go to town and I had no idea where I would find a blip between here and there.Hubby dropped me off along the road and I crept up to the edge. The rain started to come down and the little puddle ducks started to swim away from me. I got soaked but got a few keeper shots I think.
