It's Hard to Say Goodbye

A rather subdued visit from the Kingston crew this afternoon. They came for lunch and a couple of hours relaxation before setting out.  They should be home very soon.

So that's another Christmas over, as far as we are concerned. Enough turkey soup to last a month, and a whole dozen mince pies as yet unbroached ... not to mention a quarter of the Christmas cake ( and I was practically running after them and trying to press wodges of it into their cars). It's not that I don't like Christmas cake, in fact, left to it I would polish off the whole thing in a couple of days.  

Tomorrow is Monday, and I will start the day by stepping on the scales. And then I'll think about what to do about it .........
