Back to the beach

Conversations with a (nearly) 3 year old.
Me: "When we get to the beach don't got out too deep in the water."
H: "why not?"
Me: "because you can't swim."
H: "why can't I swim?"
Me: "because you don't know how to."
H: "yes I do."
Me: "really??"
H: " yeah, you just go into the water until your bums in, then scrabble your arms around, that's swimming!"

I had no answer. I love having a toddler around and the kids had a great time with their cousin.
