Went down to the Forty Foot for a swim but it was a bit turbulent so I decided to go round to Sandycove instead. Just before I left to go to Sandycove this couple arrived. He, much to her surprise, got down on one knee and produced an engagement ring and proposed. He may have got in over his depth. She may or may not have accepted.
