Views of the calm before the storm: Santiago

Rioting overnight and people have been killed. A state of emergency has been declared and troops and tanks are now on the streets. A curfew has been imposed and transport is not working and all public gatherings have been banned. The airport is in chaos as staff have been unable to get to work.
