Cráneo de Fútbol Mexicano
Depending on how the first round of the NFL playoff game against the Houston Texans turns out next week, this could be the last opportunity of the season to post my Mexican football skull. In Mexican art, the skull represents death but also rebirth. For those familiar with American football you might see how both relate to my beloved Buffalo Bills.
You’ll see skulls as art in Mexico and U.S. Mexican communities close to the border. Around Día de los Muértos (Day of the Dead) is when you will see them most often. I got this in Tubac.
