GRASS PARROT....

... feeding on the grass seeds this morning.

The day led up to the forecast 41 degC and very smoky still. So on the way down town dropped by the dam to see what was around. Found this Grass Parrot sitting on its pending lunch!

You will also notice the water level has dropped heaps since I was here before Christmas.

As mentioned yesterday tomorrow still on for a bugger of a day weather wise for the fires - with new ones starting in both South Australia and Victoria as the weather moves across Australia. Thankfully behind it is a cooler change and that possibility of some rain.... let's hope!
