Hunua Falls

After a bit of a slow start, and some very pre-teen behaviour from the Eldest, we headed off to Hunua for a bush walk and an explore around the falls. It is a gorgeous spot to spend time, and the bush is full of life. Feels like the middle of nowhere.

Stopped off at Strawberry Corner on the way home for some strawberries and an ice cream, then called in to see Grandma and Daddad. The young cousins were there with my sister in law, who appears to be making some great in roads into the garden there. Kids all had a play and then home for tea.

The Eldest looks like she's developing a bug, sore throat so far, but probably explains the behaviour this morning. Looks like House Arrest may be in order tomorrow. Dammit!
