Dark skies

Incredibly dark skies for most of the day. Caught this shot of the High Street when a beam of sunshine managed to get through the heavy clouds.
We took David back to Dingwall and then did a food shop in Tesco.It’s horrible to see the huge piles of food reduced nearing it’s use by date. We did by a few bits reduced including some cheese and biscuits.
Was hoping for a quick walk at Ferry Point but it was so dark and miserable we decided against it and headed home instead.
The sun had lowered below the cloud again and was shining on the lighthouse so we went down there. Incredible skies which looked really strange but hard to capture on camera. The turnstones were still around .
Home for an early dinner,Watched the second Worzel Gummidge that was great. A gentle pace and scenery we were familiar with as it was filmed near to where we used to live.
