Escaping the crowds
Met Sal for a coffee in St Ives Country Park near Bingley. We sat outside in the back garden as the cafe was so busy. Suppose that is because of the school holidays.
Excellent coffee as usual which was followed by a walk in the woodlands. Once in the quieter section we saw two Jays, blue tits and a few crows and pigeons.
I usually go up to the pond to see if the heron is about but it was just too busy.
Finished off a lovely couple of hour with a pint in The Airedale Heifer. Sal has a cider and I had a pint of Bridgehouse Brewery Screwdriver Blonde which had a lemony taste to it. It was only 3% but very tasty
