A pigeon'd be faster?

"This just in." as they say. Seems it was posted in plenty of time to reach me before we left for Sheffield. We were wondering if the postie walked.
Reminded me of the time I left College.
I calculated the
Average speed = Total distance = Miles/km per hour
                                  Total time
I reckoned the carrier could have walked from York to home with my trunk on his back faster.
Fortunately I was able to thank the kids faster than it took to get here. :¬)
