Houseparty

A back-blip from when I was away at Scripture Union's "Christmas Houseparty". The big old house where we stayed is lovely, with high ceilings and carved wood. Here is the main staircase.

It's sort of an event to fill the days between Christmas and New Year, for young people of high-school age. There was Bible teaching and study, worship, fun, games, and a ceilidh! I tried taking pictures at the ceilidh, but it was very dark, and people were moving very fast. Any suggestions to my shutter speed problem?
