A very rare sight!! - Snow at the Mediterranean.

I would never have believed I would see this! It certainly wasn't my intended blip, although I didn't have one in mind. For those of you who have been following my journal, you will know that this week I am at home in France. We have lived in this particular villa for over 10 years.

I believe the last recorded local snow was back in the 1940's, there is a picture of it in the local restaurant it is so rare!!

I decided to have a bit of a lie in, climbed out of bed and this is what I saw from the verandah. Amazing seeing as the weather forecast is cold but sunny!!! There is actually more snow than it looks, about 2.5 cms.

We leave here late this afternoon. Jobs done, tiling just about finished and garden cleaned up. Back to more snow tonight?
