Memory lane

Today I met 4 friends for a delicious lunch at No. 19 - the restaurant at Close House golf club. Upon arrival, the chef transformed a bottle of red merlot into 5 glasses of the most amazing mulled wine I have ever tasted (between us...not all for me!). The food that followed was superb & plentiful!

I used to work at Close House mansion when my daughters were young as the Conference, Banqueting & Wedding Coordinator, so this little trip today triggered a whole host of happy memories.
