O's birthday got a bit too exciting

Ice skating for Orlas birthday, then back to the farm for dinner.

As I went out with the dogs noticed big plumes of smoke from the chimney and smoke coming through the brickwork of the chimney breast.

Shut the stove down as best as we could and called fire brigade.

Sitting room is a bit of a mess but looks like the chimney has been saved.

Worrying but luckily it happened during the day when we were all here.
