Penultimate day of the decade

It was a very leisurely start to the day. Think we are all shattered at the end of the month and year! It took a long time for C (G's friend) to emerge from her room.

I did the unusual thing of getting on my laptop first thing. Too many things to catch up with including looking at the pictures from last night so I could post them on our WhatsApp group. I'm always amazed at how long it takes even to do simple editing on images!

G, C and I headed out to Festival City to do a shop at Carrefour. Last one of the year and getting ready for New Year's Eve tomorrow... I have no idea what we will do, but I did discover today that there will be three minutes of fireworks followed by a laser display from our very own Dubai Frame, so I could just look out of my bedroom window! We shall see.

G made a delicious lasagne for dinner, and then put on the Creature Comforts DVD; something we haven't watched for years and the first time for Catherine. G & C laughed their way through. I was back on my laptop trying to catch up with blip journals amongst other things.

My blip was taken by G as we drove home from Festival City. We so rarely get clouds in the sky, it gets very exciting when we have some. :D
