Noisy
I went up to the foot of the Walk for this and that and came back via the Kirkgate where I noticed a flock of very talkative little tweeters high in the trees. Have yet to see a waxwing in Leith this year so took a very distant photo of them in silhouette to see if I could identify them when embiggened. Oh, having tweaked the image enough I find it was only a flock of goldfinches. Sweet little birds indeed, but not waxwings (which inexplicably seem to be favouring the berry trees in the south-east of Edinburgh this winter).
