in a tranquil pool

Got up early to visit all the 6 Gormleys in the Water of Leith. The main picture is #2, the others are in the extra. I do like Gormley's work and for some reason I particularly like this set of bronzes. They were in storage until recently due to the fact that they got thrown over by the floods. They seem to be anchored more securely now (see the nesting Gormley from this summer). The last Gormley at Ocean Terminal is currently not very accessible due to yet another construction site. The number of big construction sites I noticed today was astonishing.

In the afternoon we went to see the new Star Wars film which was very enjoyable but definitely not sci-fi. On the way back we had to circumvent the annual torch procession. So many people.
