“Cats” ..... but none were real.
We went to see “Cats” (the movie) at the Macrobert Arts Centre at the University of Stirling. We’d booked our usual seats at the back, which suits me. It was not overly busy. It was interesting, well choreographed and definitely caught the mood of cats (and I’m not a cat person!). I’d read around the history and story of the stage production beforehand - I thought the film critics have been unkind. The University Atrium etc continues to be in a state of refurbishment, and temporary access in by previous exits etc, the photo is the mat at the temporary entrance. There were folks in at the pantomime too, but few students to be seen on our campus walk later, as it’s the holidays.
We went to see both our sons on the way home; neither were in. It’s that time of year. Just as well we’d had a coffee after we left the University! If the second son we visited had been in we’d have met Katie cat.... she’s very real, much loved.
Gritters were out near home. Colder night tonight than of late envisaged.
